Chevy 2500 brake pedal to floor.
Brake pedal going to the floor but no fluid leak.
At that point the brake pedal moves towards the floor.
Average failure mileage is 9 700 miles.

Pedal takes substantial travel to stop the truck.
Added front pads and pushed pucks back then went soggy on the pedal.

System was not opened.
Pedal offers some resistance but can be forced to the floor.
If this bearing goes bad it will allow the brake rotor it move back and fourth which pushes the caliper piston back into the caliper creating an air gap.
Had good firm pedal until i started the truck.
Replaced booster and rear cylinders.
Don t know if this is normal or not when pressing on pedal w o eng running feels like a spring with eng running feels normal until about one half pedal then like a spring.
Seems to stop fine and abs works.

1998 chevy s10 brake pedal goes to the floor did you put fresh fluid in the master cylinder.
Truck brakes were fine.
The fronts allow pedal travel to about 3 4 of the way to the floor and push fluid but then the pedal stops hard wont go to the floor and the fluid trickles out.
I had this happend ealier that day but thought i was just crazy.
System was only bled after the soggy pedal was found.

Rear system is in check and adjusted properly.
